Inevitable ? and yet still rather sad ? news just in: TMZ are reporting that Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry citing ?irreconcilable differences.?
The couple, who wed in India last October, sparked rumours that their relationship was on the rocks when they failed to spend Christmas together.
Russell has subsequently released the following statement:
?Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.?
Sad times.
